From the moment Ash came to give me a price to the end finish by the installers our journey was outstanding. The property was left clean daily and all rubbish taken away. Just finished the new windows and doors on our house. Top job done by fitters, very conscientious and knowledgeable. The quality is exceptional, very well constructed doors, compared to the old ones. Windows have a much needed, air circulated feature when locked. Nice and friendly team, including the surveyor who does the measuring, making sure the windows are custom built to your requirements. The rep who first came to see us was very informative and gave me lots of options, the install itself went like a dream, I was expecting to come home and have to start cleaning up around where the installers had been working but everywhere had been left immaculate. GHW installed 41 windows, 3 composite doors as well as replacing all our fascia, bargeboards and guttering. Ash was professional from the start, gave us fast and competitive quote which beat two other local firms hands down and gave us exactly what we wanted, he broke the price down and we felt confident they would do a good job, there was no hard sell and he was great in giving us advice on style and colour, we chose the grey windows and doors. We paid a 25% deposit, delivery and installation was fast and efficient and all the fitters did a great job, I am so pleased with the installation and cant believe that from the inside there is absolutely no damage to the existing walls etc, it just looks perfect and we have the reassurance of a 10 year guarantee. Only once we were happy did we pay the final balance and there was no pressure. We were really nervous about getting the right company due to the amount of windows and doors we needed but GHW did such a good job and we had nothing to worry about, would highly recommend as both competitive and efficient as well as just generally being a really nice company to deal with. Wow!!!
Just took delivery of a new 3 seater sofa. It would not fit through the lounge door, the only way in was through the window.
So the window had to come out. How do I get a window out at short notice. I rang a couple of places, extremely expensive and several hours wait. Managed to contact Great Harwood Windows Ltd. 30 minutes later, job done. Thank you very much to Sally, Liam and Jimmy for going the extra mile.
