Gio did a superb job designing our website. We broke away from a really expensive (and lazy) design contract and Gio redesigned from scratch the entire site. What was nice is having a human being on the other end of the phone / e-mail who actually enjoys what he does. Responses at 11:30PM is impressive too! Overall, site looks superb and he's thought of all the extras - like how it might grow and what we might need in the future. He also just included loads of extra stuff needed to make the website amazing 'out of the box' at no extra cost. What makes a great website?
A website is only great if it achieves the 'call to action' or a single important key action. For example, if you're an accountant, your website only works if it makes people pick up the phone, or write you an e-mail, with a view to using your services. It's important that it looks the part, and is of course both secure and modern too - but it should be covertly guiding the visitor to fulfilling your key requirement.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
First things first, what are you looking for your website to achieve. Does it need to have any special functionality? Does it need to look or respond a certain why? Second would be, is there any specific features you'd like? Live chat, e-commerce, online contact forms, forums? Budget comes last, and is something we're happy to be flexible with. We're really keen to make sure we know exactly what is expected of the website and us, and that you understand exactly what you're paying for. We're very flexible mid-project with any changes or adaptions that may need to happen, so it's just a case of ensuring we understand exactly what you need your site to achieve, along with any key brief requirements.
What do you love most about your job?
Being able to build websites that I love for a living. There is nothing quite like it.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always love websites, and web design. For some it's artistic outlets like music or painting. For me it's building websites and dealing with all things digital. After building a handful of websites that have gone on to enable local businesses to be really successful as a side-line, I thought I would take my passion to the next step and make it a career. There's a real niche for businesses looking for honest, straight forward web designers who don't try and empty their pockets or blind them with science!

We're not the usual agency. It's just me; an experienced and honest web designer. You won't have sales people trying to upsell stuff you don't need. I'll get to know you and your business, and you'll get to know me. Together we can build the website your business needs.
