Called in from out of town to order birthday flowers for my sister! Shelly was super friendly, made me feel completely at ease. I prefer to let the florist pick the flowers as opposed to picking an arrangement. She seemed really excited about my order... said they'd send a picture of the final arrangement when delivered! I ordered a $75.00 arrangement to be delivered. I specifically asked for long lasting flowers with some roses or lilies and interesting greens. The arrangement that was delivered had mums, carnations and alstroemerias. It was very plain and uninteresting, not worth the cost, and had no designer touches. When I complained, they did offer to pick it up and redo. This would be upsetting to the recipient and so I asked if a few roses or lilies could be delivered instead. The answer was no. Apparently there was a miscommunication. The person who took my order did not indicate my request for lilies or roses on the order. She told me they could "absolutely" be added to the arrangement. I am from Fort Worth and spent most of my life there, however, I haven't lived there in some years. I researched all around the area of the funeral home And read dozens of reviews. I finally settled on Lake Worth Florist because of the positive reviews and it had been around a long time. I called the store personally because I wanted the flowers handled a certain way for a beloved family member who had passed. To honor a special Person on February 13 (NOT for Valentine's Day) I ordered a dozen red roses-I upgraded the order to Premium at $109. 99 plus tax and delivery--versus the standard order of dozen red roses for $79.99. The recipient, for whom I had previously ordered that standard order, said the Premium presentation was indeed superb and definitely "premium." Ordered a bouquet of roses and stargazers through their websites. Opted for, not the standard or deluxe, but the top of the line Premium edition which would add an additional 12 flowers. The cost of the Premium bouquet came to $149,-. The product that was delivered was no where near a premium bouquet! See picture. It was pretty much the standard edition. Kim took my order for a funeral arrangement and she was very polite and respectful. She was helpful and honest about logistics and timing which were business considerations that Lake Worth Florist would have to work through but she was also empathetic about the whole situation. In the end, Lake Worth Florist provided us with one of the loveliest sprays (Lily and Rose Tribute Spray) and they delivered it a whole day earlier than they originally told me which was amazing and much appreciated. I have started dating an amazing girl who lives in north Ft Worth. I'm in the Frisco/Plano area, so I had no clue how to send her some flowers, especially having bad experiences with the on-line national sites. I researched here on Yelp and found Lake Worth Florist. Payton who took my order was not helpful at all. <br>I have used this florist in the past and I am now out of state and called to do business <br>With them. <br>My sister is very ill in the hospital just recently admitted, therefore I did not have address or phone # just room number .<br>She said they could not deliver without building and phone number. So I being upset had to stop while on phone and look up this information. I felt she could have done this once we were off the phone. <br>Very poor customer service. <br>Other employees were there as well. I ordered some flowers for my mother in law's birthday, online. Process was easy, I received a confirmation email notifying me of purchase. I've read some reviews that there was issues with online ordering so just to make sure my order was received I called the store to confirm. The lady who answered the phone was very pleasant from start to finish, and verified my order was received. My mother in law received her flowers the next day and loved them! A huge Yelp! thumbs-up to Lake Worth Florists. I am extremely picky when it comes to floral arrangements and while I initially just do online ordering, we wanted a custom floral sympathy arrangement. We had a design in mind to honor the memory of our friend and sent an email with an example.
