Very impressive conversion retaining the features of the old building. Very clean and tidy, attractive setting. We were on walking tour so no chance to sample food & drink.

My favourite place to go for cocktails! Great drinks, great prices. Wasn't blown away by the desserts unfortunately but they weren't expensive and they were fine, just didn't impress me that much. The Worcester slug and lettuce is my favourite one of its kind because of the building it's in. I was invited to a party with a set menu here and contacted the manager to check ingredients. She went out of her way to find out the information I needed and made it possible to attend the party. The food when we got there was good and the cocktail masterclass was a lot of fun. The amount of food and drink that was provided as part of the package made it really good value. The only “complaint” was how loud the music got quite early on (9pmish). It was painfully loud (even for those of us recently out of university!) and made conversation impossible. More...

Good music with extensive cocktail list, good atmosphere and good layout with plenty of standing up space and dancefloor area. Good offers on cocktails! They also do 2 for 1 meals on Mondays which is great value and the food is very tasty if you come here during the day. Only two issues is the difficulty and time being served at the bar (bar staff working full hilt) and sometimes you can be forgotten when you are trying to pay for a meal during the day. More...

No trip back home is complete without a visit to the slug and lettuce operating within a converted church I love the relaxed atmosphere and calming feelings the building produces add in the table service that is available during the day it's a place to put up your feet and relax I also go on the weekends when I get the chance and the place transforms into a lively dance atmosphere plus you can't go wrong with the 2 4 1 cocktail options :)

From arranging the decorations to ensuring that the bar was readily stocked and that only the people we knew came into the area.
