I asked Skins to do some shots for my profile and website. Profile picture here is a Skins shot! Skins is a real artist. He created a studio out of no-where and put me at ease throughout the whole session. Skins constantly talks to you and tells you what's going on. I'm not that photo-genic really but virtually all shots were amazing on black and on white. The most difficult part of the process for me was choosing which great shots to leave out on my final pick. As both an actor and musician I am constantly updating my portfolio with headshots, Show reels and portrait pictures. On this shoot I wanted to cover a few styles in order to show off certain expressions/attitudes that would be useful on my website.
However since I was a little unclear of what it was I actually needed and what might look best, it was so refreshing that Skins was able to guide and encourage me all the way.
Having your photo taken can be quite daunting no matter how experienced you are in front of the camera so being able to stay relaxed and focused is crucial. Skins worked in such a fluid manner and adapted accordingly to the surroundings, weather and other people on route that I had absolutely no stress and felt totally taken care of throughout.
Absolutely lovely fella. Great experience and OMG the photos look FANTASTIC. Very happy customer.

Based off seeing the work he did for a friend, I was fortunate that Skins was able to fit me in for a photoshoot during a weekend I was in London.
Right off the bat and before you even begin, Skins makes you feel at ease and comfortable. The session is truly collaborative. He gives hints and tips on posture, poses, lighting, and on cameras in general - you actually leave the experience not only with a great set of photos, but as a better photographer yourself. His passion for the camera, and the subjects of his camera, shines through.
After the session the pictures were turned around quickly. I liked so many of the pictures I ended up buying many more than I thought. My favourite picture is one he captured during a lighter moment when I was laughing uncontrollably :)
Overall it was a fantastic result and a fantastic experience. I would recommend Skins to everyone I know looking for fantastic photos from a fantastic photographer (and a fantastic guy)!

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I think the secret to taking great images comes from being great with people, making them feel relaxed and to have a good time. Getting to know your subject and talking with them on a level that put them at ease lets the real person shine through.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is your dream image? Why are you trying to get this image? Working together with s client is a lot better than just shooting and giving what you want. It is a team effort to come up with great images and working together makes the final image mean so much more to all involved
What do you love most about your job?
I get to make people happy. Putting my years of training and skill to putting smiles on faces always gives me a buzz. Seeing someone change in front of the camera and relax with the end product making them believe in themselves and seeing themselves in a whole new light.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been on a journey for the last 15 years. Working as a hair dresser, dancer, performer and barman have all involved me using my high energy and positive outlook to help people smile. During these times I dabbled with photography and in 2015 I decided to take this hobbie into a full time job. Since then I have worked all over the county and several places across the world.
I have shot weddings in India, Album covers for singers, Baby bums to four generations of a single family. I have shot pretty much anything you can think of and not once have I ever been board... every job is new, every client adds more to my skills and even after this long... I still love doing this Job.
Why should our clients choose you?
While i think there are some amazing photographers out there but something i do very well is capture a mood, a time, a feeling.
I work with my clients, encourage them with ideas and throughs and always am a happy, supportive person that makes people smile from the inside. I make a photoshoot fun and not a chore. My clients remember the shoot itself as well as having images that last them a life time.
