My house used to have a poky, dark and old-fashioned kitchen, so I asked Simon to help turn it into a modern and open-plan space. He was completely indispensable from the first visit to the completion of the project, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. There were so many different elements to consider - from new flooring, tiling, new units, to knocking down load-bearing walls - I would have been totally at sea without his guidance and help. He has a great eye that pulled all of those new features into a beautiful, light, practical kitchen. He has loads of contacts with contractors and got me good prices. Simon designed a lighting system for our newly installed kitchen and dining area. It had never occurred to us to have the lighting designed and we have been grateful that Simon was recommended to us. The different light effects really make a difference to the various uses for the area. Simon worked hard to find the right lights and they also make a real impact. We often comment on how pleased we are - it seemed an unnecessary additional cost when first suggested to us but it was worth every penny and we have never regretted it. Simon was recommended to us for the design and complete refurbishment of the common parts of our block of flats in London. His initial suggestion was perfect and was approved unanimously - he was ready with alternatives but they weren't needed. He provided outstanding and attentive service and also negotiated excellent pricing for us from suppliers.
