Simon came to see us to talk about converting a garage and lean-to into a two storey annexe - a self contained home . We liked what he suggested, and asked him to take on the work. He worked very hard! In fact, I am fairly sure he gave us more hours than we paid for - he was determined to get it as good as it could possibly be. He produced a plan and we found a builder to make it into a reality - my family live there now and it looks good, and has all they need - except for a bit more space! Simon couldn't create space where it didn't exist. But what he did do, is use all the space to its utmost, and create a home which works well and looks good. I’ve worked alongside Simon, Nicky and Tom acting as the lead designer and employers agent. The team were very easy to work with, and gave clear and concise direction as the lead designer and to explain the clients desired outcome for the project, as well as protecting the scheme budget and timescales. We are in the throes of improving some poor quality buildings at our house and we have enlisted Simon to produce the plans. We have enjoyed working with Simon who has given us a lot of time and plenty of creative ideas. The clever use of space and a variety of materials has given us a very imaginative design for what could be a very dull and boring project.
