I'm very happy with my sessions with Simina. I've tried a few other therapists, but I stopped seeing them after one or two sessions.

Bereavement Counselling

I’ve been working with Simina for three years now. She’s incredibly insightful, thoughtful and patient. Our weekly sessions have provided me with the tools to help me cope with losing my father and a close friend, as well as navigating a life that’s slightly different from the one I envisioned. I find it incredible that I’m still learning so much about myself and how my childhood/early years have affected me, which just goes to show what a brilliant therapist she is. More...

Simina is a very skilled, professional psychoanalytic psychotherapist. She supported me through the most difficult period of my life, to be able to help me make sense of my psychological diagnosis, trauma and to build realistic tools to support me through any future crisis. I wouldn't be the person I am today without undertaking the psychotherapy with Simina. To say she was part of my recovery journey and saved my life would be an understatement. Therapy is a difficult process and I am glad I was privileged to have Simina's support. She is compassionate, very insightful and saving people daily. Thank you for doing this important work Simina an angel on earth, one of the good ones. I will never forget what you did for me and my children. I would recommend Simina without hesitation. More...

Q&As

Making even the smallest difference in someone’s life.

I have worked for a number of years in various prisons across the UK, with people coming from all walks of life. I believe that no one should be on her/his own when life becomes a bit more difficult.
I have a strong knowledge of cultural differences and a vast experience of working with people from different cultural backgrounds. I strongly believe that every person is a unique individual who brings beauty and richness to this world.

I work in a way that allows clients to talk freely about their problems, and to describe exactly what is on their mind. There is never too much or too little to say, as the aim of the therapeutic alliance is to encourage exploration of the self, with an interest in the unconscious mind. The therapist-patient relationship is at the core of the healing process. Understanding our past can help us to understand our world.

Certainly, here's a suggested answer:
Yes, I do provide online or remote psychotherapy sessions. I utilize various platforms for these sessions, including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meets, to accommodate different preferences and needs. These platforms ensure a secure and confidential environment for our sessions. The online therapy process is similar to in-person sessions, offering the same level of professional support and confidentiality. If you're interested, I can provide more details on how to book and prepare for an online session.
