Q&As

I am committed to helping people to be the best that they can be. I am passionate about my work, and place my relationship with my client at the centre of my work.

However I also recognise that counselling isn't just about solving problems. Some things can't be changed or fixed - but what you can learn to change is how you relate to either your situation or to other people. Talking can help bring about new understanding, acceptance, or ways of coping and through this process you may discover the path to a better future.

Put simply, I just want to make a positive difference to other peoples lives, even if that means just being with them to share and understand their pain and suffering.

It's never easy to select the right person for you, and I believe that you will only really know whether we can work together after we have made contact.

I offer at no cost the opportunity to either speak to me or visit me at my practice. This provides you with an opportunity to decide whether I am the right therapist for you. There is absolutely no pressure or obligation to commit to therapy if it doesn't feel right. Even if you decide that I am not the therapist for you, exploring what help you are seeking from a trained practitioner can still be a useful and valuable exercise.
