My elderly step-dad was beginning to get some quite bad health issues so the family looked at getting him some help with getting, and then keeping, his home clean. After a lot of searching online and comparing services needed to services offered we had a consult with Shine and agreed to go for a "top to toe" one-off clean including a cooker clean and a weekly visit. What a difference they have made to Dan's home and to Dan himself. Although Shine are a cleaning company the staff are brilliant, hard working and very efficient and help in many other ways, sometimes making a cup of tea or coffee and having a little chat between cleaning. That sounds like they are not actually doing anything, at that time, but with an elderly man living alone those few minutes make a world of difference. The staff leave a written work record and always add a little personal note and a smiley face to the work record transforming what could be a very impersonal job into a truly professional part of Dan's overall care. We bring all our own commercial standard products, that have been tried and tested. We know they do a great job!

What inspired you to start your own business?
After years of working in environments where everyone moaned about the cleaning, and complaining about doing our own cleaning we realised that we aren’t the only people needing time back in their lives from less cleaning and less complaining. We then realised that we could do something about it. So we are.
Shine is a cleaning service provider where we think that the cleaning is only part of the service. Listening to what our customers want, listening to our team and responding to those conversations with a smile are just as important!

Why should our clients choose you?
Every home is different. To make sure we do what you need us to do, we come and visit your home and listen to what you want and how often you want it done. We can visit during the day, evenings or weekends to learn about you, your home and what you want to achieve. After listening to what you need and taking into account any special requirements or possessions, we will send you your spick and span spec, agree a schedule and get to work!
