I have been training with Joe for over a year now, which is testimony to Joe right there ...I have never stuck with any exercise program for longer than a few months let alone over a yearI am a 50-ish year old female who whilst not overweight (though I have lost half a stone without trying) hadn't done much in the way of physical activity since my early 20's. As a result I couldn't do one single push up and could probably have just about wheezed my way once around a running trackJoe and I have sorted out a program which suits me rather than being prescribed by some kind of Manual or Online Training Guru. I like a challenge but am easily bored so I have to have a target to keep me going. Its all credit to Joe that he has the patience to 'Adapt' to these new targets without losing sight of the bigger picture .( I can almost hear the 'what now' and see the eye roll) So I have gone from theoretically training for the Marine entrance test (still work in progress) to being able to do press ups (check) pull ups (Check) Muscle ups (WIP) training for a Power lifting competition with the aim of qualifying for the British Championships (nearly there) to being fit enough to enjoy the Tough Mudder I have entered in MayNow you may get the idea from this that I am some Bulky Amazon but this is just not the case, yes we do a lot of heavy weights, because that's what I enjoy doing, but there is a world of difference in training for strength and training to bulk up like the bodybuilders do and Joe steers you in the right direction. In fact I am a 5'7'' 9 st 10lb female with long limbs and have NEVER looked or felt better (and that's my Husband talking who has known me since I was 17) This however makes some aspects of power lifting for example challenging but with Joe's encyclopedic knowledge and expertise we have trained to help with these issues.So whatever your goals, shape or size, I am sure Joe has the knowledge and expertise to get you there. He is also very encouraging, easy to get on with, pushes you far further than you would push yourself, but does it with such a lovely smile.(that last bits a lie ....more like an evil grin!!!!)I wouldn't miss my weekly session with Joe for the world, and if I had the wherewithal I would make it 2 or 3 Don't think about it any more just do it....It will probably be the best decision you have made this year More...

As a more mature lady who has never trained before, I wanted someone who could understand my goals and help me reach them without being hardcore and shouty. I've worked with Joe for almost a year now and can honestly say I enjoy the training and the results so far, and I plan to continue so I can be generally stronger and more independent. I can have a laugh with Joe, there's plenty of good conversation but most importantly, I feel I can rely on him to keep me progressing. I have complete trust in his knowledge and working methods, plus he's a generally nice bloke. More...

As someone who has avoided going to the Gym for most of his life I have been astounded at what I have been able to accomplish with Joe. He is extremely supportive and encouraging and has an inventive and varied range of exercises which always kept the workouts interesting. Working with him for the last few months has resulted in far greater results than I thought possible in such a short time. More...
