What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Well if you are shooting people generally it's to keep them relaxed , with professional models its great direction in a no stress environment and still get the great shots needed! In other genres- preparation, preparation! and know exactly what the client wants!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Can be a number of questions, as everyone is different with different professional needs, not one set of questions suit just an individual as I tend to shoot differently with an individual style.
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting different challenges and people in the UK and certainly shooting abroad, you get to see some amazing things!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Told I was quite good at photography first, amateur level for 15 years, then shot a friends wedding and realised I could shot good pictures under a stressful environment, so I moved on from weddings into shooting a wide selection of subjects which take me all over the place. Because I strive to capture the best for all of my clients not only think short-sightedly but ahead of the game. So yes I can shoot single shoots for clients but I generally excel at longer campaigns, helping the client to grow.
