Perfectly located from our perspective, spacious and overall comfortable. Little things like pots and pans need updating and heating in the living room/ diner/ kitchen area wasn’t sufficient for colder months, but bedrooms/bathroom were fine. Overall good experience and would definitely stay there again. More...

Propose built stable yard of apartments of different sizes, at the entrance to a farm, with views over the wild fields. Great prices|Floor to ceiling Windows, but don't open in bedrooms, so git a bit stuffy with the weather being humid. Bit of a mix-up with the booking and didn't get the room type I wanted, but was comfy, and we had a relaxing few days there. Very clean. Slats on double bed needed a bit of work but furniture good in general.|Lovely host and got to meet her two friendly dogs and puss. Lots of birdsong, so felt like was away from it all, but there was good wifi included. A few insects snuck in, but we were in the middle of farmlands so expected.|Kitchenware, microwave, cooker and half fridge, spacious bathroom.|Need to remember to have hand soap, loo rolls, kitchen towel, washing up liquid with you, but if not, there is a decent sized coop in Caistor which is very close.|Great place for exploring Lincolnshire and close to main roads and motorways. We stayed for several days among a family group from the UK and Australia that booked all cottages as accommodation for a local wedding. These are 'comfortable budget' rather than a luxury choice. We had communal meals in whichever cottage suited the moment. We used the central outdoor space for an outdoor birthday paella party, and turned one cottage into the bridal party's base. The owners seemed relaxed about the the fact that kitchenware and furniture moved around as we needed it and helped wherever they could with requests (e.g. for a BBQ). This made for a happy few days. Each cottage has a different layout and all are furnished with a sometimes quirky mix of furniture, some of which needs to be replaced or repaired. The washing machines were a boon. The lack of soap, bathroom sink plug and washing powder were not. The setting amidst farms, fields, nearby villages, bird-life and rambling roses, made our walks idyllic. We booked a local taxi service to come and go and that worked well. The cottages would go from quirky to country gem with just a little more attention to offering fresh kitchen/bathroom amenities to each set of guests. More...
