Booked Sean 3 months in advance, liked his enthusiasm and approach so I was prepared to wait. It was 6 or 7 days work and quite laborious but he was keen.
He initially quoted and said he’d return once I’d got everything stripped. After about 4 weeks I asked him to come and check he was still happy, he appeared a little evasive (which did ring alarm bells) but eventually after the 3rd time of asking he turned up. He was still happy to do the work but said it’d be a further 3 weeks wait as he’d had COVID - so getting on for 4 month wait now.
2 weeks before he was due to start he called, and coincidentally, he had just been informed he had to go in for surgery the week he was due to start and would be off work for a minimum of 8 weeks!
I left it a couple of days and text him from a different mobile and asked him if he was available for a simple feature wall and emulsion job, guess what, he could do it in 6 weeks.
Cannot comment on his quality of work but do not trust him to show up!

Brilliant service, what else can I say!I called these guys in to redecorate my downstairs living room, kitchen and hallway. They turned up on time, we ran through everything so they knew exactly what I wanted and where, after that they got to work really quickly. I was surprised as they didn't turn up in the usual scruffs you expect from a painter/decorator, they were all neat and tidy. The wallpaper job they did in my kitchen is wonderful! Seamless, no bubbles it’s absolutely perfect, the paint job in the living room and hallway is just as amazing and they even cleaned up after themselves! I cannot give these guys enough praise, honestly. The guys were very friendly and didn't stop for too many tea breaks. For the price the service they offer is excellent! I can’t fault them, just what I wanted, it’s given my house a real lift. I will be having the upstairs done soon and these guys will be my first port of call! I contacted Sean Knowles Decorator after finding his website on Google. He visited my property and gave me a quote for my Hall, Stairs & Landing.
The quote included all materials. Sean's written quote included a start date, and an expected finish date for the work. Also a break down of all the work he was going to do. I excepted the quote.
Sean's team turned up on time . All floors where protected with dustsheets. The work was carried out to a very high standard with minimal disruption to the rest of the house. A more polite bunch of tradesmen you could not meet. I would highly recommend Sean Knowles Decorator
