We needed an individual valuation separate from the surveyor we used for the collective enfranchisement of our building and our project manager recommended Clive. Clive was given a tight deadline to deliver this and he provided us with an excellent analysis and detailed valuations of future lease extensions for five short-lease flats we were investing in and a five-year forecast for how each coming year would affect their value. He also explained and expressed his opinion on the potential Leasehold & Reform Bill. Clive's advice helped us make an informed decision on how best to proceed and to fully understand the ramifications of the possible bill and our investment risks and opportunities. Clive Scrivener assisted us with the purchase of the freehold of our block of 6 flats in Battersea. It was a complicated case with significant arguments over Development potential of the roof, relating to new permitted development rules for detached blocks of flats. Clive successfully negotiated a reduction of just over £1,000,000 from the Freeholder’s counter notice figure.
