What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
In my experience, the best photographs just happen - capturing a first look of the bride, to that first kiss, to those small yet special moments that really shows the true feelings of the couple, their families and friends. The secret is to make yourself (as the photographer) almost invisible - being unobtrusive enough that people don't notice you makes for some perfect moments, perfectly captured.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Are there any particular styles you like? What are the most important aspects of your wedding that you want captured? What do you want from your photographer? Is there anything that you are particular unsure about?
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting so many lovely people; capturing each moment; watching two people demonstrate and show their love; the fact that anything can happen; seeing all the joy, happiness and celebration that a wedding brings; all the different styles and themes....the list is endless!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always loved photography and being a photographer. Whilst searching for my own wedding photographer, it re-ignited my love and passion for this wonderful craft. I started my own business as I wanted people to have the same excitement and joy as I did when I received my wedding photographs. I also love weddings and being able to share (in a small way) in this whirlwind of happiness is fantastic!
Why should our clients choose you?
I am warm, friendly and fun! I can talk to anybody (and often do!), and I love my work! Weddings are such a special and amazing day, and to be involved in this in a small way is indeed an honour and a pleasure!
