What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy my job because I can spend time with clients and make sure that they are getting the best out of the service. I enjoy looking after the clients and their families holistically making sure that all needs are met, if not exceeded.
I enjoy making sure that care workers are looked after through their career and developing their skills. Safe and Sound Homecare pay above the National Living wage and pay travel time. Our care workers are an integral part to the business and we appreciate everything that they do.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My background is domiciliary care and through my career I've worked in various elements in Health and Social care. I saw when I was working within an NHS trust the need for Home care, being able to send someone home after a long stay in hospital was very rewarding.
As a previous family carer also I have seen what poor care looks like and I strive to make sure that Safe and Sound's Homecare provides excellent care, with strong communication between clients and the care workers.
