We got married at Royal Holloway in August 2016 and held our evening reception there also. We were alumni and with Royal Holloway being where we met we thought it was the perfect location for us to celebrate our wedding day. The setting is absolutely stunning and our wedding guests continually commented about how beautiful the venue was. Not only was the venue amazing but so were the team of staff who helped us in the lead up to the day and on the day itself. We had left several quite specific requests and instructions on how we wanted our table settings for our Wedding Breakfast (in the Picture Gallery) and our evening reception room (Crosslands) set up and they met every single one of these. A special thank you to Emily and Terri in helping us plan everything, responding to all our lengthy emails and making sure everything would turn out just as we hoped and also to Rachel, in orchestrating the smooth running of the day itself. We had the most amazing day and all our guests commented about how much of a wonderful time they had had. Thank you so much for all your help – we would highly recommend Royal Holloway as a venue for a wedding or any other occasion! More...
