I used Ross Coates for Conveyancing my property after selling. Let me say first of all that I really do tell it like it is, if I get bad service then I shout about it, conversely credit where credit is due also. I must admit I did read all the bad reviews posting on here and I was very concerned.BUT, I have to say the from first contact with Anup I found him nothing but immensely polite, incredibly efficient and bent over backwards to ensure deadlines and timescales were met. I would have no hesitation in using him again for Conveyancing or any legal matter. Ross Coates fees were very very reasonable and much lower than other quotes I had for the same service, did service get compromised because of that? Nope not in the slightest. I found this firm using an online, price comparison site, they were one of the cheapest.If you are a first time or nervous buyer - you SHOULD NOT be using an online company - pay the extra, keep it local and personal. If you don't need updates every five minutes and or your conveyancing is straight forward, I cannot recommend them enough, very pleased with the service. I understand why people might have left bad reviews for this company but as the old adage goes - you get what you pay for. "Buying and selling your home is very stressful and it would be easy to blame your conveyancing solicitor team for 'not getting on with it'. I've bought and sold enough houses in my lifetime to realise that getting searches completed etc, takes on its own time scale and is usually out of your solicitors control. What was most different for us this time (our first time with Harmony Conveyancers) was being able to speak to our solicitor in person, and he wasn't difficult to get hold of either when we felt we needed to speak to him. He turned out to actually be HUMAN and with a nice telephone manner (not always a trait accorded to solicitors) he always appeared well versed in our case when we spoke, despite the fact that this company is obviously very busy, and he was always very friendly and cheerful to us. Yes, we would have liked our purchase to reach 'exchange' a little sooner, but l think the 'time scale' problems are with the greater system of house purchasing and not simply 'your' solicitors office" More...
