We contacted Chris at short notice after another pianist pulled out of playing for our wedding ceremony, and we were delighted when he was available. Chris was extremely friendly and professional from the first interaction, and he worked quickly to get to know us and what type of music we liked. On the day his playing was flawless, and all our guests commented on the wonderful ambience his playing created. Chris recently played at our wedding ceremony and during the wedding breakfast. I highly recommend Chris, he made everything so smooth with the booking and deciding on song choices, and setting both pianos up incase we had an outdoor ceremony. I just wanted to echo all of the other excellent reviews on here and say how highly I would recommend Chris to anyone looking for live music entertainment at their wedding or event.

He played at our wedding at The Belsfield in Bowness in July 2017 and his professionalism, friendliness, and of course playing were all second to none. In the run-up to the wedding I especially appreciated how promptly and thoroughly he would respond to any queries we had - this is definitely not the case with all wedding suppliers and it really makes a difference when you are a stressed-out bride with a million things to organise! Nothing was too much trouble for Chris and he kindly took the time to learn two new songs that we had requested for our ceremony - both of which sounded outstanding I might add!

Several of our guests commented on how beautifully he played, and as we never got chance to say thank you on the day I just want to say how grateful we are - thanks a million Chris!

Chris played for our wedding on June 17th 2016 and he was flawless. From the moment of first contact he was polite and accommodating, even learning a song for us to walk back down the aisle which hadn't previously been on his repertoire.
On the day he played for our ceremony (which many people didn't realise and assumed it was a CD because he played so perfectly) and also for our wedding breakfast. So many of our guests commented that he made the atmosphere, chose beautiful songs which suited our wedding.

We booked Chris for our wedding in March 2016 and he was fantastic; we highly recommend him as a wedding pianist. We wanted to try something a bit different with our music choices but were unsure whether it would work. Chris was excited to hear our ideas and was really helpful in pulling it all together; sure enough on the day it was perfect. We were truly blown away - he played beautifully and we had so many compliments about it - thank you! We loved hearing the songs we had picked, especially our last minute request for the cheeky "Imperial Death March" whilst Ian waited for me down the aisle and also "Sweet child of mine" whilst I walked down the aisle with my dad. It really helped set the tone for how we wanted the day to go. The TV/film soundtrack section during our wedding breakfast also helped get our guests talking to new people too and reminiscing about songs - perfect!

Right from the word go Chris was professional and helpful and his enthusiasm on the day was lovely to see. Chris went “above & beyond” from the heart on the piano to sharing the photos he took, we really appreciated that he wanted to make our day special.

We had Chris for our wedding 25/8/17 at Nailcote Hall. From the moment he arrived he was so professional, setting up early and doing all of his sound checks, even accommodating us with a last minute change to our exit song wasn't any trouble to him at all. Chris played at our wedding at Mythe Barn in June. Right from our initial enquiry, through to making our final plans, Chris' communication was quick and thorough. I am fairly indecisive and Chris was able to make some excellent song suggestions for us based on our tastes, was able to play our special song requests without any trouble, and was even able to accommodate a last minute change of song choice. One of my pet hates in wedding photos is supplier advertising and Chris very kindly used a plain cover for his piano at my request. He arrived early to the venue in order to set up the two pianos, sound check, and chatted to my bridesmaids about entrance timings. There was a bit of a hiccup with my dress right before I was due to enter, and unfortunately I could hear the processional playing as I was stood outside while my bridesmaids sorted out the dress - but I was told from a guest point of view that it was not obvious I was late and Chris continued to play seamlessly and adapted quickly to the situation. We had asked Chris to play during our wedding breakfast and this was absolutely beautiful, adding a touch of class to the occasion and I noticed Chris played several Coldplay songs throughout (I had told him we were huge fans) which made me so happy. Our guests commented on how much they loved the music and how polite Chris was. I didn't get a chance to thank him personally on the day as he packed up quietly without us noticing, so thank you Chris! All in all, I would throughly recommend him and to have him play was worth every penny. More...
