Let me train 1 session and got my positive feedback, then banned me from the club because I left a different Gracie club over a decade ago. Hate crime blind spots! It was my Second ever BJJ lesson - tried out London fight factory in shoreditch previously and then came to this place.. . the difference was so insane. I knew i would love BJJ but i just needed the right environment to really get started and I literally had one lesson here and new i wanted to sign up there and then.I cannot recommend this club more highly, Its Professional, respectful, friendly, welcoming and just feels right. You will know what I mean if you try it for yourself. The only thing i would say is that they make you wear there branded GI - This was a bit frustrating as i had literally bought one from amazon that same day! It was an extra £80.00 but its a small price to pay to be part of such an awesome place. If your at the start of your BJJ journey then you have to at least come and get your free trial at this place. You won't regret it and you will most likely want to sign up if your serious about BJJ. More...

Knew nothing.
Arrived on the off chance there was space in the (obligatory) intro class.
They made space.
Watched a class (taught by Bruno - who encouraged me to move to a better vantage point to see what was going on).
They loaned me a gi.
Did a (free) class (taught by Juniao GP).
The teachers are excellent - and have an eagle eye .
The folk you roll with help you - they want to cultivate folk to roll with.
The classes kick your ass and your brain.
Just watch the folk in action and you'll see a broad range of temperaments and styles.
What you won't see is ego nonsense - anywhere.
As a beginner you're going to suck at stuff, get bewildered - you are not put off.
You turn up the next day.
The community are disciplined, full of humour and walk the walk.
It's infectious, addictive.
This place has rooms full of sweaty, challenged, happy human mammals.
QUALITY.
Go.

I stopped in for a training session and had a great experience. Everyone was welcoming and the instruction was great. The only thing to mention is there are showers, but no towels so be sure to bring your own.

We visited RGA yesterday while in London so my daughter could train.
We were very excited and honored to meet both Mauricio and Roger!
My daughter attended the basic class taught by Mauricio, as well as a Judo Mix class. Both were amazing, as expected! She received top notch instruction, again as expected, and everyone embraced her. We were fortunate in our timing and she was also able to attend Claudia Do Val’s seminar that evening. What a day! She was beyond thrilled! Everyone was exceptionally friendly. Russell was very helpful with our questions. My daughter will never forget her time at RGA meeting the legends and getting to train with Mauricio and Claudia. She has not stopped talking about it, or wearing the t-shirt, black hoodie and hat I purchased for her. She doesn’t know about the Mauricio Legacy hoodie I bought her for her birthday! We highly recommend RGA!!
