I was a witness to a friend’s ESA appeal led by Coral Williams. From my first conversation with Coral I was strongly impressed with her competence, empathy and detailed grasp of what must have been a very minor case in a very busy schedule. In her meeting with a vulnerable client before the hearing, I was further impressed by her patience and consideration.

Thanks to Coral’s preparation, the verdict was decided in her client’s favour before we entered the hearing. The judge made it clear that Coral’s submissions to the court had already convinced him of her client’s case and our testimony was not required.

I have been on receipt of ESA Support Group for many year (before income support). Last year I attended an assessment. I suffer from a life threatening disease (undergoing a medical trial) and also multiple disabilities. I was removed from ESA and given a score of zero. I contacted solicitor Coral Williams . She took my case with outstanding professionalism and kindness. I was well advised including the extra benefits I 'm entitled to and didn't know. In the end it took less than a month for my ESA the reinstated at a highest rate , an apology and PIP Enhanced rate . All of this , in my case , without going to court.
