When we originally booked, to me it seemed the epitome of a tough-job:- (fifteen people, half of which were children) in an open environment and to capture it all in a ‘candid’ way is not an easy task but the results you achieved were fantastic and loved by all; they are authentic, dynamic and most importantly truly reflective of our dearest and dearest and will be treasured for many years to come. Rob is an amazing photographer, and a total laugh. We wanted our wedding photography experience to be fun, candid, and un-intrusive, and boy did Rob deliver. The pictures are incredible, and really capture the spirit of the whole day. Right from the off, while my bridesmaids and I were getting dressed, Rob was there making us laugh and easing the nerves. All throughout the day he seemed to simultaneously be everywhere, capturing all the greatest moments of our friends and family having fun, but also nowhere - at no moment did we feel his presence was getting in the way of any of the celebrations. This is both because of his talent and professionalism, but also his great personality. It just felt like having a new friend at your wedding, who happened to be pretty handy with a camera. Our wedding gallery is a perfect blend of sweet, romantic pictures of Sam and I and these hilarious, vivacious pictures of our friends and family enjoying each other. You can almost feel the movement and the laughter in every shot, and so many of my new favourite pictures of people are in that gallery. Review: We hired Rob as our wedding photographer and I honestly cannot rate him enough. I was nervous about the photos and had even contemplated not hiring a professional photographer as I genuinely do not like having my photo taken. However, from the moment Rob arrived, his laid back approach and great sense of humour instantly put me at ease. He worked his socks off and I can actually say, for the first time in my life, I enjoyed having my photo taken. Myself and my husband have both since said that it felt like he was another one of our friends that we were spending the day with and added to our wedding experience, which is more than we could have hoped for. From the moment we met Rob we knew we weren't going to find a better photographer for our wedding. He put all our worries at ease and on the day he was amazing! My husband and I are not confident in front of the camera but Rob made us feel so relaxed about it! He was not imposing throughout the day and the photographs were exactly what we were looking for. My maid of honour even asked if Rob was a family friend because he fit in so well with our friends and family and made everyone feel so relaxed, for him to capture some fantastic images. We love our photos from our Norfolk wedding in May – the finished product means we have fabulous memories of our fantastic day. Rob captured the romance, the humour, the emotion and the joy of our wonderful day. He was passionate about his craft but in a really positive way and the results are amazing. But the finished product is not all that we have to highlight – Rob was a delight to be with on the day – he added to the fun of the day with his amazing attitude (we loved his tolerance of the selfie brigade) and his ability to just fit in. We would welcome him as a guest anytime. But also the lead up he was so insightful – on timings, on realistic expections, on planning. We liked his professional attitude too – made the planning so much more pleasant.
We would be happy to discuss this with people - really we couldn’t be happier. Now a month on we can relive so many moments of the day! Thanks Rob – you were a star!

Photos are really important to me so it was imperative that we picked the right person to take our wedding photos. I trailed through lots of websites and Robs work stood out instantly.
I loved the style of Robs photography and after meeting this lovely guy we went with our gut instinct and chose him.
I'm glad we put our trust in him because it really did pay off.
He was amazing, he ran around all day, he even went as far as putting welly boots on and got in the water to try get a perfect shot for us!
He made me feel so relaxed (for someone who hates having their picture taken) and he was so funny and down to earth.
What I appreciated most was that he didn't make me feel like it was 'just another wedding' to photograph.
He took an interest in myself and Jamie, he got involved in our day and socialised with our family and friends so that he really did become a part of our day.
The pictures are absolutely stunning and he got all the small and big details down to a T.
We couldn't recommend this man more to anyone!!!

We found Rob Dodsworth whilst doing a LOT of research on local photographers, when searching for our wedding photographer. Robs work stood out the most to us and we chose him, luckily he was available! We have no regrets over our choice of photographer. He was great to have there on the day but was also actually very invisible! I never once felt ‘on camera’. We have been absolutely thrilled with what he has produced for us, the pictures made us smile, made us laugh, made us cry, made our hearts burst and allowed us to relive the best day. We were lucky enough to be introduced to Rob through our wedding photographer as we found Pete at a wedding fayre and Rob came as our second shooter. Nothing about his work is ‘second’ however! He spent the morning with the guys and then captured the ceremony, reception and evening. His photos are fantastic. As an admirer of artistic imagery, Rob created some lovely shots that we absolutely love and we were so happy with his style as well as his personality and approach, we were lucky enough to nab him again this year for our maternity shoot. Extremely accommodating, undeterred by the terrible drizzly weather, a muddy dog and the cold winds, Rob has given us a range that we are so happy with, some absolutely lovely family photos. At a difficult time for our family, we asked Rob to take some family photos. The results are incredible and will be treasured always. Rob captured the special day of my daughter's wedding in a unique and very intimate way. The informality of the pictures belies an extremely professional approach. Rob was our photographer for our wedding on a sunny February day. Right from the start we got on well with him and he really understood what we wanted to achieve and what was important to us. On the day itself he blended in with all of the guests and worked so hard to capture all the shots we wanted. We are thrilled with the photos. Rob Dodsworth, well what can I say....

He participated in our magical day at Langley Abbey for my son's wedding on the 12th August.
You actually never knew he was there, but what transpired in his photos is truly amazing , capturing wonderful moments of love , happiness, laughter and above all life to the fullest. I cannot thank Rob enough as the grooms mother for this because as I re look and relook at the photos it brings a tingle to my heart and I relive every moment and that I will treasure forever.
