An absolute Gem of a venue! I have had the great fortune of visiting the Jazz Cafe frequently in the last year and can say with certainty and much gratitude that both the owner and the atmosphere are wonderful to be around, whether it be for Salsa Mondays or Soul Sundays (now on Friday! ) or a personal, family celebration.. RJJZ is one of the best venues in Birmingham and definitely worth a visit!Much love,Chris Da'Costa More...

We met a lady tonight who was the most lovely person, even gave us an umbrella. She showed us the venue and talked us through the genre. I will go back to this bar as anyone as friendly and helpful as this lady has to make this a warm and friendly place to be. Thank you lovely lady hope your venue is amazingly successful. X More...

Great jazz club in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, a nice variety of drinks including some excellent wines, various flavours of moonshine, and a lovely atmosphere. They also bring in some tasty pop up food vendors. More...

Love this place! ROWENA has really made this a homely place with her selective nature that is evident in her choice of decor. Please dont touch any of the special collection of articles she has put together. It does not stop there as she has also taken the time to organise a special set of drinks that cannot be found anywhere in Birmingham, the Midlands and possibly the whole of the UK. Trust me on this, if you are ready for a vibe night of sounds, tastes and perspectives that you will help you get to know the real Birmingham then get yourself here. It was my first place to have a night out and although I got lucky and walked in on a birthday that had a lot of ladies in attendance, ROWENA was the first person to make me feel like Birmingham could become a place I can call home. Wonderful new venue, so excited to frequent this lovely rustic jazz venue. Met the owner. A wonderful friendly lady that I hope will have nothing but success ! ! Drinks are very reasonable & atmosphere was great. Large enough to have a great vibe, but small enough to feel quaint, friendly & warm. Loved it !!! So needed in Birmingham !!! More...

Called into RJJZ for coffee with a friend on a Tuesday afternoon. This was my first visit and Roanna made us so welcome. There was subtle background music playing and the decor and ambience is excellent. I very much look forward to visiting again soon to hearing some live music in such a convivial atmosphere. More...

I frequently meet with friends at RJJZ to have a hot chocolate whilst doing knitting and watching classic films on Wednesdays. I booked this venue for my violin solo debut concert last Friday night. The manager catered to all of my requirements and was able to provide advice in the planning where needed. My event guests felt welcomed at this well thought out, beautifully designed, child and disabled friendly establishment. I will certainly be using RJJZ Jazz Bar again to host my events. It is definitely the best place I have found in Birmingham for live music events and it can only get better. I highly recommend a visit. More...
