We hired River City based on reviews and pricing. They were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were super flexible in ordering (we just needed final numbers the day before) and even added desserts for 300 people with 3 days notice. Our venue was quite unique and they came out and for a sight visit the week before. Tina was the on site supervisor and was lovely to work with and the whole staff was pleasant and professional. Kailey was a wonderful contact for River City Catering! She was very thorough and patient with us as we decided our menu options for our company Christmas party. Her and Josh worked together the night of the event to ensure we had a fantastic spread for all of our guests! The food was amazing and there was plenty for everyone! We decided to go with the appetizer package, as we wanted things more along the lines of finger foods, and wanted plenty of options for guests to choose from. Some favorites were the shrimp cocktail (which had large sized shrimp with a nice seasoning), Thai spring rolls (which had a sweet chili and peanut sauce for dipping, and the mini chicken cordon bleu. We hired River City Catering for our Volunteer Appreciation event and they did a great job. We usually find a venue that offers food service but this is the first time we've actually searched for a caterer. After reviewing several wedding websites, we initially decided on this local business because of the positive reviews and simplicity of the menu pricing.We made an appointment to sample all the menu items and they had a nice table set up. The chef brought all the food out to sample and we were able to personally select which items we enjoyed the most. Chef Pete was very nice and he also explained some of the dishes he made. I mainly communicated through email and some phone calls with Kailey and she was very professional. Planning an event can get a little stressful but RCC did a great job with making things simple with great service and great food. It was also a pleasure working with Cameron and Curtis who personally assisted with setting up the buffet line and replenishing our food items. They did a great job, worked hard, and was very pleasant in doing so!I would recommend anyone to this company. I've compared about 15 catering companies in the area and they offer the best pricing as well. We ordered the seasoned chicken with roast beef, garlic mashed potatoes, vegetable medley, spring salad, rice pilaf, and bread with coffee, tea, and lemonade. We also offered a vegetarian choice for our restricted dieters and the cost was only $17 per person. We also had dessert items and take home boxes because we had so much food to take home.
