I'm a graphic designer based near Oundle, Northants in the middle of the English countryside. I have a passion for sustainable design and reducing the environmental impact we have, including this in my design process as much as possible. What makes a great website?
A great website is one that works for both the company and your customers. It's easy to understand and use, but also gets all information you want across to your audience. It should also be easily found in relevant search engine results so SEO is important to include from the ground up when building the site as well as for the content.

Describe your creative process.
Working with customers using both traditional and modern design methods to quickly understand what you want and make sure that we are on the same page going forwards. Regularly checking in for feedback if necessary so you are happy with the progress of the project and any changes can be made quickly and th eproject is finished on time.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
What it is you are looking for from the project, the end products you want and the end goal or aims for this. It would also help to know of any styles that you like, or any that you don't like, to kick start the process. Things such as an existing site or style that you like and why you like it.
What do you love most about your job?
Working with people and helping them to create the perfect design that fulfills what they wanted. I also enjoy the challenge of trying new things and enjoy working to a deadline as well as researching for the project and improving my knowledge and skills with every new challenge.
What inspired you to start your own business?
In the past I had a plan for another business and realised that, although that area of work wasn't for me, I enjoyed working with people one on one and actually getting to know what a customer wants from them. It makes the projects more personal and means that the final product is individual and unique each time.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am good at communicating and working with future clients to understand what they want. I also work well from feedback so if there is anything that they want to change throughout the project I will work to make sure that the final product is exactly what they want. I am also efficient and know how important it is to stick to deadlines.
Graphic designer
Creating content for print or digital media. I can create original assets and sets for websites as well as original illustrations or sourcing relevant royalty free images if you don't have any you want me to use.
Brochure designer
Designing a multiple page brochure, either using your own images or sourcing images that would be suitable, showcasing your products or services. Can be as short or long as you like, either using your own copy or I can contact a copywriter to help if it need work beyond the basic copywriting that I am able to provide.
Flyer designer
Single or double sided, any size or design style. I can source images or use any you can provide along with the copy. I have experience with layout design and typography as well as creating colour palettes for use across multiple flyers if needed.
Magazine layout designer
Creating designs for magazine pages and covers, I clouding the layout of text and images and the inclusion of adverts. I have experience putting a magazine together as well so can help with where to place adverts and the pages needed for different articles to ensure the final design is clean and easy to read in the style of your choice.
