What makes a great website?
Responsive design, fabulous content, ease of use, strong messaging and a terrific call to action.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is the budget, deadline, objective, KPI, approval process? Do you have any research available? A briefing document? What are your expectations for working together?
Describe your creative process.
Ask questions. Review research. Review competitive research. Develop ideas. Share ideas with the team. Scrap the ideas that aren't strong enough. Go back to the drawing board and come up with new ideas. Share more ideas with the team. Toss the stuff that doesn't work. Dig deeper until we have work we are all proud of and believe in. Then, share it with the client.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Deadline, KPI, briefing document, research, budget.
What do you love most about your job?
Working with clients who we both admire and respect - and who feel the same way about us.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Necessity and passion. Not to mention, losing a job after one week in corporate America. The best thing that ever happened.
