Amazing Service to help me set up and promote my business with fabulously professional photographs of my products. Nothing seemed too much and the studio is a piece of art in itself. Very highly recommend.

If you are in and around the Bucks area, I would highly recommend Radical Edge. Came in today for my actors portfolio headshots and despite not having many actors in his repertoire, he did a fantastic job in getting the right shots! If you are looking for a service that is person centred service, paired with brilliant skills, attention to detail along with a happy environment, Radical Edge Photography is the way to go! More...

John recently restored a 1920s wedding photo found at the bottom of a drawer. The transformation from a battered, creased, water marked, ink damaged and hidden away 97 year old photo to the final outcome, was fantastic. The mount and frame so carefully chosen really set the photo off beautifully and the clever digital addition of extra background so that the photo could sit squarely within the mount was something only a professional would firstly see & then be able to achieve. Thanks John - we'll be scouring the old photo albums and drawers for other gems to restore. More...

We cannot recommend John at Radical Edge enough! From the moment he opened the front door to us leaving he was the most friendly, professional, creative and patient guy!
He treated our baby son as his own whilst capturing the shots he needed, and for that reason we will definitely be returning to him for any further photo shoots we have done.
(His skills do not stop with babies, he even managed to get our fidgety Labrador to sit still long enough to be included in family shots!)

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Making a personal connection with the subject and putting them at ease is absolutely key. Then it helps if you understand composition and all the technical stuff too!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What's your budget?
Why, where, when and who are we shooting?
What does a fantastic success look like for you?
What do you love most about your job?
I get to meet people, and then make them super-happy when they see their photos!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always loved photography, but things have come a long way since I used to develop black and white films in the school darkroom. I started playing with digital cameras pretty much as soon as you could pick one up for £1000, and got my first serious digital SLR in 2007. When an architect friend offered to pay me to photograph his buildings I realised that I could turn this into a business that would fit in with my other commitments (not least being a house husband for the last decade). In 2014, as part of a massive house renovation that we've been doing for 7 years, I built a portrait studio inside some old dilapidated garages attached to the house. That allowed me to specialise in my favourite niche - people photography. Now I get to photograph all kinds of people (and their pets), produce beautiful art and get paid for my trouble - what's not to like?
Why should our clients choose you?
Personal, over the top, nothing is too much trouble service. Relentless attention to detail. Continual striving for high quality at affordable prices. Long-term relationship.
