Today I dined with several friends for lunch. Everyone enjoyed an excellent Italian meal - plenty to eat and very tasty. I didn’t order a starter as I didn’t fancy the dishes offered. The main dish was a delicious, tagliatelle al ragu-rustico with a vegetable side dish. I had a mocha ice cream for dessert. My wife really enjoyed fegato risotto (calf’s liver) followed by profiteroles. We had to wait rather longer than we would have wished for the dessert to be ordered and some members of our group had to leave. We had an annoying problem with the payment as we were not asked if we wished to pay as a group or individually. I recommend this restaurant for Italian food. More...

Would have given 5 stars if we'd had an apology for there being no heating at lunch time. It was freezing and needed a coat. Also were overcharged, plus the service charge! not for the 1st time apparently, so check your bill carefully. Should have had a bit taken off the bill for that reason in my opinion. Gosh!!!!this place is great. Looks like a family run business and the food is mouth watering. They don't have a great selection of wine but good enough for the area.
