I am a freelance photographer and graphic designer based in Belfast. Most of my clients are Pet Owners, Couples, Businesses etc. I love what I do and I am very passionate about every Photoshoot. Currently I am looking to expand out and do some larger events such as weddings, I love to go to weddings and always seem to notice things a lot of people don’t and I’d love to catch those moments on camera.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
It depends on the type of photo, if for example it is at an event, or it’s a family/couple or even a pet Photoshoot, you need to grasp the moments when people don’t even know your in the room, when they’re mostly being themselves. I love to capture real moments and showing people’s personality and spirit in the photo.
If however it is products or commercial shoot, you need to grab what’s brilliant about that product, make sure the photo will grasp attention and what the audience to need it or get the message.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What do they want exactly, what’s their style, do they have an idea of what they want their outcome to be, if it’s an event then what’s the purpose, what do they want the photo to say or show?
What do you love most about your job?
The end product, I love showing clients the photos and I love seeing images I took or that I designed being used or even hung up in homes.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I actually had my own online clothing business, and I realised I enjoyed taking the images and designing the graphics more than I did actually selling clothes. I am also always torturing my dogs for photos and realises a lot of the images were getting amazing feedback from family and friends and peoples started asking me would I do it for them and I thought why am I not doing this instead?
