This was my first visit to Purely Natural and from my entry into the salon I had a great feeling from everyone. The welcome from staff and Anastacia at the desk was so warm and friendly, I was made to feel at home and they knew exactly what to do with my hair. Victoria twisted my hair speedily but taking the most care. I visited PN on the 22 December for the first time. The experience was amazing, I waiting no longer than I'd say 8 mins. A real warm and welcoming settings.The technician dealt with me from beginning to end and reassuring about the new style I went for. Went in for a trim and was great, they saw me quickly and they trimmed my natural hair quickly (in an hour) and they also listened to my wishes and used no heat afterwards. I left the salon feeling happy with my cut and it’s very good pricing also. Highly recommended More...

I got my locs started off at this salon in December, 2015 and although I had a few issues, in the beginning, because of my lack of understating between interlocking and retwisting, I must admit, this is an excellent salon. The staff are extremely professional and friendly and I am happy for most of them to do my hair. It is a little on the pricey side, but really when you think about it, what is too pricey to spend on yourself?
I got my daughters locs started off here too, on 13th January 2018, a day before her ninth birthday and she absolutely loves it.
I would definitely recommend Purely Natural, keep up the great work guys,

Pros: turned up without an appt. and was seen to straight away...maybe was bcoz was after xmas. Also the place is well maintained and very clean. Friendly staff even offered a drink! Lots of advice from hairdresser on how to maintain hair naturally.

Cons: Price changed from cash desk to when the actual hairdresser did my interlock. Even with the steep interlock price the rest of my locks were neglected and only did the interlock of new growth. Interlocking price is ridiculously expensive. More...

I have been natural for 9 years and 5 ago I decided to go Heat-free. Why? because I had had enough of all the highfalutin Afro hair salons in London. When I think back of the years I wasted in salons who could not manage :- appointments, hair, a mop and bucket I could cry.

So after my 5 year boycott of all salons I was presently surprised by Purely Natural the staff were all friendly the premises was well maintained and my stylist listened to what I wanted. He understood to detangle from the ends like you are working spun glass. He totally got the concept of stretch blow-drying on a super low heat, and took no offence when I refused the trim.

One small issue of parking however they are so fast you can be in and out before the 2 hour limit at the supermarket expires :)
If I were ever to become a slave to a hair salon again I would choose Purely Natural as my master. More...

Amazing staff with great customer service, skill and gifted talent.. a day before my graduation, did not want to cut my hair but everyone had told me how late I was and just had to cut it. . walked into purely natural salon to try my last chance of luck and was given a really creative hair stylist, Victoria.. did not realise the level at which she had tremendously made me look until I stepped out the salon and was getting compliments left right and centre. This salon is amazing. I decided to go natural 3 months ago and was stuck for ideas of what to do with my short Afro. Victoria styled my hair and twisted my hair. It look amazing. As someone who has been managing my natural hair by myself for 2 years, this was a great first natural hair salon experience. The natural herbal treatment I had left my hair feeling super soft and smelling amazing!! I also love that the lady who did my hair (Calista) gave me great tips on how to manage my hair and specific advice about my curl pattern. By far the best natural hair experience I've ever had. You walk in the shop and there's a lovely atmosphere which can be very uncommon in a black hair shop. A lady called calista did my hair I had a wash and treatment done. I hate going to the hairdressers! Which is why I usually do my hair myself. But I have been to Purely Natural twice now and I think I might have to make it a regular excursion.
I leave feeling fly. My hair feels happy and cared for. The stylists understand my hair needs and are hella creative when it comes to styling my natural hair armed with just a comb and some gel.
