I had read the previous reviews and following some friends recommendations, who had used prosper recently we decided to contact them. We emailed at 18.30 and outlined what we wanted and within three hours Paul McMath had responded to our email and given us all the information we needed. This was a great relief to us and we arranged to meet him. Both me and my wife were very impressed with their professionalism. Following the meeting we were contacted later that day with the details of how much a mortgage would cost us and a number of different options for us. We were then able to make a informed decision on the information Paul had provided us. Paul was able to secure us a mortgage within a short period of time. After being messed around by an agents broker for 5 weeks I was in trouble. My sale and purchase was about to collapse. Step in paul from prosper. Not only did he get my mortgage in my hand 3.5 days after giving him my paperwork but saved me £1700 in fees and 3%.. Prosper helped my girlfriend and I buy our first home when we moved to Hastings. We were expecting the process to be long and difficult but Paul was straight with us about what the options were and explained exactly what information we needed to provide. I think it was two days after the first phone call we had an agreement in principle with NatWest. It was amazing. And they were always totally upfront about the costs.We've now moved in to our flat. Throughout the entire process, from making the offer to completion, Prosper were there to answer questions and support us through the confusion and worry of buying a property for the first time.
