With no early signs of degradation, had a sudden failure injection (engine working on 3 cylinders, massive loss of power, fuel gauge going down incredibly fast) confirmed by the alarming Injection Failure message displayed on my 2012 Renault Kangoo 1. 5 dCi 110 hp while returning back from Hertfordshire late at night two weeks ago. I managed to reach home though. Immediately booked an urgent check at Powerdrive, they took my car at short notice, 8am next morning. Diagnostic was one injector out of service, honestly presented all options for the repair. Do not regret having followed their recommendation. When using the car again on long drive, I clearly perceived the effectiveness of the repair. The engine pulls strong and smooth, is torquier and the 6th gear can remain engaged effortlessly on ascending portions of the A27, M25...I have noted that fuel consumption is very good, the gauge indicator barely moved down after a 110 miles drive. I really feel that the engine has never been so efficient. During the week my car was at Powerdrive for the repair, I had a rental car to commute with Hertfordshire (where I work part of the week); the rental car was a 68REG Peugeot 3008 1.5 diesel with 13.000 miles. I honestly can say that the Kangoo now delivers a comparable engine experience than the Peugeot 3008 (that costs around £24.000 while my Kangoo 2012 is valued 4 times less...). I highly recommend this garage. I took my car to a different garage before this one in which they could not find any problem with my car, however i was still having problems with black smoke and kangerooing. Took my old movano van for mot and it failed, they repaired it with minimal fuss , and passed it, good communications, Chris was as usual great, as we're the rest of team, second year on the trot, I'm sure there's cheaper out there but I bet there's more expensive as well, you pay for a service and in my opinion they deliver that service, had a slight issue with a part last year and was put right immediately , hence I returned this year, and if the vans still alive next year I'll go back,

I don't normally do reviews, but in this case I felt it was necessary. I have a Mercedes ML which I bought when it was about 18 months old I went down the normal route of getting Mercedes franchises to service this in the first couple of years i. e. when it was under guarantee. This proved to be unreliable and expensive first franchise told me out and out lies to get out of warranty work, and the second franchise replaced items which in hindsight had a lot more life in them.So my experience was rather tainted until I use Powerdrive, in comparison they seem extremely fastidious about servicing and I had to persuade them to replace all my brake pads, because as they said there was a little life left in the two fronts this is exactly opposite to the experience I had with Mercedes itself. It is very hard for me to make a like for like comparison but power drive was a lot cheaper getting close to half price of a Mercedes dealer to do the same work.I thoroughly recommend them, the only downside is that that Mercedes I had a coffee made from ground coffee beans in a very expensive cup, whereas a power drive I got instant coffee in a Mug! My Ford Focus recently developed problems including: severe lack of power, increased fuel consumption and blowing out thick black smoke.
As I was in London and at work, I called out a mobile mechanic to diagnose the problem. He told me that it was injector trouble and quoted me £1K to resolve it.
Fortunately, I decided to get a second opinion and a friend recommended Powerdrive. Stuart was professional and efficient during my initial contact and Chris diagnosed and fixed the car in the same morning for a mere £233

I am delighted with the Customer Service and High quality work, efficiently and quickly completed on my vehicle.
I had a diesel fuel leak from a feed pipe on my VW diesel.
Stuart most efficiently booked it in, Chris quickly and most helpfully diagnosed the problem and called me once the job was done. A most friendly and efficient member of the team did a great job - fabricated a new pipe to the correct shape and fit, replaced the old pipe, cleaned up the area affected, and refitted the new pipe. Good as new. Understand the vehicle was road tested. I think it is running really well and the job looks really well done. Thank you very much.
