He was always approachable and friendly in the build-up and extremely helpful in setting up, including arranging microphones and speakers for the daytime and speeches. Dan was the DJ for our wedding at the Octagon Barn in August 2022. The music was absolutely perfect and so many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it! We gave Dan a rough idea of the type of music we wanted which he really took on board, but was also great at reading the room and playing songs that got people on the dance floor! Dan was extremely friendly and helpful in the run up to the wedding - he was kind enough to attend the venue the day before to set up which allowed us to borrow his mics for the ceremony and speeches, and play our own music during the meal! Where do I start! We booked Dan for our wedding originally in 2021 and with all the covid drama we had to move the date two more times. Dan was so understanding and accommodating to our new date and he 100% did not disappoint. I have had so many comments on our day, but not about the dress, not about the food, not about the venue but all about the MUSIC!! We gave Dan a rough playlist after asking all out guests to pick a tune....but on the night Dan got the feel of what people were really dancing to and ended up playing lots of rock'n'roll, ska, motown and obviously some old school dance classics. We really cannot thank you enough Dan for making our day the party we wanted! Everyone wants the playlist as so many of our guests have said they haven't danced that much in years. Dan is just superb! We needed a DJ for our wedding in July 2019 and not knowing anyone in the area, we had to no recommendations to go off so contacted a few companies having done an internet search. Out of everyone Dan really stood out! He communicated excellently and immediately we felt reassured that we picked well! Music at our wedding was very important and Dan listened to what we wanted and made the process so easy! When we finally met, we were even more impressed! Dan went over and above his duties by setting up a speaker in our marquee for the speeches. He was super friendly, easy going and made what is typically quite a stressful day, that much more easy and calm! Not to mention Dan is an exceptional DJ! Dan was superb from the initial contact to the conclusion of the evening celebrations.
The playlist was spot on as was the sound quality of his set up.
Very accessable at all times to any questions I had concerning the evening and timings.
Arrived early and set up ready for the big surprise.

Dan was chosen as the dj for our wedding. Very easy choice to make after speaking over the phone. Hosted at the Norfolk mead, he turned up on time, set up discreetly during the end of speeches etc. Regarding the music he nailed our requests for Motown, northern soul, generally avoided wedding cheese at our specific request and we got exactly what we wanted. Firstly, you have to enjoy what are doing! Good communication with the hosts before the event & then reading the crowd on the night.
