What do you love most about your job?
Helping businesses and organisations of all sizes to identify and reach out to their prospects and then turn this engagement into an acquisition or sale is, for me, the most important task that I perform for my clients.
I find it hugely rewarding to work with small and medium businesses and help to provide them with the edge that they need to achieve their goals, whether that be to promote a brand or product, gain a larger market share, or increase brand perception and reputation.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I began my marketing career after reading Marketing BA (Hons) at university, and then working in-house for an award-winning digital marketing agency. Whilst there, I identified a gap in the market for an approachable, highly polished and affordable marketing and copywriting service for local businesses and SMEs.
I made the decision to launch my own business - Polly Kay Marketing & Copywriting - in 2012, in order to make such services accessible for smaller businesses without compromising on professionalism or quality.

I work largely remotely as a rule, but am also happy to attend business premises or even work in-house with clients for set periods of time if required for projects of a calibre that warrants this.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
As you might expect, I am currently working remotely only as a result of Covid-19 and the various considerations and restrictions that come with this. As the situation evolves, I will return to being somewhat more flexible on face-to-face availability!
