Wanted some photographs taken of my 6 month old son, Toby and contacted Amanda after seeing her studios advertised locally. Fabulous from start to finish; very friendly, quick to organise a shoot, when we arrived the room was perfect it wasn't a big scary white space, lovely touch of having a banner with his name on too. Called around 20 plus contacts found on net mum's who not only missed my calls but never bothered to call back(& yes my number was displayed) APART from the very professional Amanda @ polkadot studios. ..on a very short notice with a full diary agreed to squeeze me in after being considerant to my situation.

Amanda came to us to do some modelling updates of my daughter, she had all different coloured backgrounds, rugs etc for different outfits and effects, good lighting etc, she was absolutely fab with my daughter who didn't want to play ball, really patient and encouraging and not at all rushed, I would def recommend her and what a fab price, thanks so much and we will do it again soon, great xx

We approached a number of photographers after the birth of our son and based on first impressions, booked a photo shoot with Amanda when Taylor was 10 days old. We were not disappointed!

Amanda was amazing throughout the whole process, very professional and more importantly very patient and calming with our tiny boy!

Amanda has a real creative eye and the pictures she captured are exceptional, we will cherish them always. We were both amazed at some of the poses she managed to put Taylor in, the props she used were incredibly cute! Our favourites being the Cupid wings and arrow and the Peaky Blinders style flat cap.

After much consideration looking at different photographers for our wedding we met with Amanda. We met initially to discuss styles of photos etc as we wanted a more laid back 'casual' photos approach. Amanda showed us examples of her work and we were very impressed.
On the day Amanda arrived early and got right to work, I barely even knew she was there, we were running very late and Amanda very kindly stuck around to take the snaps of us cutting the cake and first dance.
We cannot be more pleased with the outcome, Amanda captured our day perfectly and was a pleasure to work with. The extra unexpected prints were a lovely added touch.
Anyone looking for a photographer would not go wrong with Polka Dot Studios.

Iv known Amanda a couple of years, when she was doing dog grooming, and fell in love with her photography as soon as she started her business. Me and my now husband didn’t need to look anywhere else as I knew she would do a fantastic job and she certainly did. She captured all the important moments of our special day and even stayed longer than she intended to due to change of plans with the festival near city hall and traveling time to get new photos done. And then to add family taking a while to have photos done and Amanda was so patient and understanding. I would 100% recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a photographer and want some gorgeous photos that capture their special day as much as she did ours xx More...
