Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
You need building regulations to convert your garage! The floor can be a floating floor, made up of timber. Or a concrete /screed base. Both options you will need 100mm of insulation "Celotex" the footing for the brick work needs to comply with regulations. Cut out door way if needed. Normally a 1 meter dig or you can use reinforced concrete lintels. First fix electrics then dot & dab plasterboard/skimmed. Radiator pipe work can be installed prior to this. Brick up 1 meter with cavity insulation and thermal lights blocks internal. Install window. Paint & decorate/archtrave
