We have been to a few different ice rinks and this one is one of our favourites, the ice was good quality and the staff friendly, had all the facilities you need from an ice rink and a good atmosphere

Regular Ice Rink as any other. A bit crowded and they charge an extra fee for "non members" which is very odd. After collecting skates we had to walk on a wet "carpet", so our socks were wet too (they should split changing area)

This place was amazing. When I first got on the ice it was very slippy. After about 30 mins I was able to complete the whole ring without stopping. The Halloween disco was amazing a bit busy but it was fabulous. Personally it was brilliant. Unfortunately the icentre was melting a bit but it was very good condition still. Really good day out, took my daughter and her friend, both aged 10. £13 each for session and hire of skates as didn't have membership but well money well spent, purchased the skating aid: polar bear to assist and hold onto on the ice, but there was lots of spare Polar bear aids and penguins aids for the smaller kids that people had bought and left on the ice for others to use. Weren't no Walrus seated aids left as was already about five on the ice being used. Two hour session 4-6pm, no ques or waiting. Cafe was open and bought 3 hot drinks for about £7. Decent enough ice rink. A couple of complaints are that they charge £2.20 for spectators. And laughably, if you bring your own skates you save £2. 20...but then have to spend another £1 straight away for the lockers! A total con to be honest. More...

it's a great ice rink and the hockey is great to watch. but you haven't tasted dissapointment until you have tasted a Planet ice rollover hotdog £4 at your closed hotdog vendor next to the rink

This was a pleasant place to visit A fairly new building which is tidy and well maintained. We watched an ice hockey match against the local ice hockey team Manchester Storm. This is a small friendly rink and not over commercialised The food and prices were reasonable for the usual drinks, burgers etc plus bars. There is a free well lit car park outside but you need to get there early to get a space. Quite a pleasant experience. More...
