2 years ago we had a summer house made and fitted by Pinewise. They did a good job but there after care and attitude is disgraceful. The roof is leaking on the summerhouse so we rang and asked if it could be looked at. Yes get there end of the week. End of week n the next week came no show. Rang again will be there one evening. That came and went. Rang again I will definitely be there at the weekend. That came and went and on the fourth time of ringing and asking when they were coming I got a mouthful of abuse. I don’t sit here waiting for you to ….. phone I’ve got others things to do I’m not just coming to look at your summerhouse and the phone was slammed down. Sadly since this has happened and we’ve talked to others it appears that there is no after care service, that they do not bother and come and look at what has gone wrong. Arrived at 0930. The old shed was dismantled, taken away and the site then cleaned. The new 8x6 shed was put up. All finished by 1030 with no mess at all. The new shed is very well made. It has an excellent flush-fitting opening window. The wood finish is really smart. The price is very good value - brilliant! Highly recommended. More...

Terrible communication, terrible attitude towards their customers. Ordered a summerhouse and shed at the beginning of April - paid deposit as soon as I received the invoices (5th April). I was told the buildings would be delivered in 4-6 weeks. I did not hear anything so emailed during week 3 to find out when we could expect delivery as we needed to get the existing buildings down and remedy the bases. No response received to my email. I emailed again 1 week later... still no response. Emailed again a further week later, no response. Finally got hold of them on the phone on 17th May and was told that they had another summerhouse the same size as ours to build so would do ours that week too and also the shed and delivery would be "next weekend" (the weekend just gone). On Friday, we dismantled the existing buildings, but Pinewise did not arrive. I telephoned today asking for an update, only to basically be told that they "don't know" and to call back in half an hour. The man insisted that he wouldn't have told me "next weekend". He then failed to end the call and I heard all the terrible things he had to say to his colleague about me - how he "f**cking hates customers like me" and that people like me "f**cking craze him", amongst other things. He asked his colleague what size my summerhouse was and his colleague said that he didn't know. Clearly the people behind this company have no clue what they are doing or what jobs they have outstanding. I called to request the full refund of my deposit and advised that I had heard every word of what they had to say about me after failing to end the call. A few minutes later, I received a call back. Apparently, Pinewise get the type of call I had made "all the time" - like that should excuse their attitude towards their customers. I pointed out that perhaps this particular man shouldn't be running a business if he doesn't want to deal with customer queries. He said that it's not his business and he shouldn't have answered the phone in the first place. Apparently, by leaving a negative review, I am "petty" and just trying to find a way to get my own back. He reckons that everyone knows what he's like and that's just the way he is and he can't help it. There was no apology for the way he spoke about me... just called me to try to justify his attitude and terrible customer service with the line "we get that type of call all the time". This is NOT the sort of company I want to support. It's a shame because I am all for supporting local, independent businesses and was willing to spend a considerable higher sum of money with them than I would expect to spend with a larger organisation.
