Q&As

I love creating designs that are very personal to the client and telling their stories. Each design is unique and has its own challenges that are always interesting to bring out in an art piece. Also to take the route of sustainability is so important to me, as our planet needs our help. The smallest changes can make a difference.

The wall art industry is big on mass produced items and wallpaper which are both not unique to each space. Hand painted bespoke murals takes into account the client and the space, to really create a backdrop or focal point for the space. Having worked in interior design for many years, specialising in murals was the natural progressive step as painting and decorating is my favourite part of the interior design process.

Wallpaper when stripped gets put into landfill which isn't good for the environment. While paint is a chemical that is being produced, the paint companies I use are sustainable in their production practices as well as ingredients. The life cycle of the products matter, metal paint tins can be recycled and we use pigments and white bases so are not wasting coloured paint and too many paint tins. We use bamboo paint brushes and re-use the old brushes for other techniques. Products can have many purposes, its just about being creative enough to find them. We use recycled paint trays which are great. No leftover paint gets washed down the drain, it dries in the tray and the tray is ready to be used again.

I have been decorating properties for 15 years, and worked in the interior design industry for 10 years creating interior spaces for clients. My understanding of the interior space goes hand in hand with painting murals. The experience allows us to create unique pieces sustainably and that sit within the interior space harmoniously.

We can conduct the initial meeting over Zoom to keep our clients safe and discuss the design phases online. During the painting process, we wear masks on site to keep everyone safe.

Services

Hand painted bespoke murals completed as sustainably as possible. Our pieces are designed to tell the story of the client and the space, what are your likes, what journey do you want to tell in the space, or how do you want to feel in the space? These are the starting questions to be asked at the beginning of every project to get the story that is to be told and therefore design something unique.

Sustainability is at the heart of our processes, so we are constantly on the lookout for better ways to change our practices to make them more eco-friendly.
