Enjoyed my stay pleasantly surprised.Stayed in the delux room £120 breakfast included with sea view and it’s a fab view .its a 3 .5 stars really as it is showing signs of needing decoration in our room a little bit tired and main heating not working so we had a little plug in heater which didn’t hinder our stay .parking is directly across the road if you can get a space at multi-storey £12.80 for 12 hours (hotel discount).breakfast was lovely as much as you want with nice sea views .staff very friendly .casino and sports bar next door which is modern and has live music .shopping centre is across road with plenty of shopping .seafront is clean and tidy with longest pier in the word to walk in 1.33miles .there is also an amusement park which looks great for the kids .will definitely be going back with the kids More...

I have been to this hotel couples of times don't get fooled by others hotel's Photoshop pictures . My Husband and I decided to book a last minute getaway from our busy lives in London. The location of this hotel is perfect, the rooms were clean and well equipped. Upon arrival we was greeted by James, who made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond to accommodate my request of a room with a bath and sea view. Went there for a wake after a funeral. No real interaction with staff except the young lady who was near the entrance directing the funeral. party to the right venue. She was very helpful as it is a big hotel and easy to get lost. Food was very good, tasty and freshly prepared as the sandwiches were really fresh no curled corners. They supplied glass bottles of filtered tap water and replenished them regularly which was a nice touch. Was in Southend, my hometown for a get together of old friends. I thought I would stay at the Park Inn as it was close to where I needed to be the day after. Everything was perfect. I was checked in easily and they had noted and acted upon my special requests. The room was as clean as you could ask for and massive. Checking out was perfect too. Visited the hotel last weekend as had hired a function room for the fireworks, our 2nd year running.||The balcony was perfectly situated and even though it was not raining heavily whilst the fireworks were on, it sheltered our entire party easily and didn't spoil the evening. ||The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hot buffet food we received was really very good too and much needed after spending the previous few hours in Adventure Island in the drizzling rain.||Cannot comment on the rooms as we didn't stay but the general area amenities were all clean and well looked after.||Parking can sometimes be difficult in Southend owing to so many expensive restrictions but thankfully there is a large multi storey opposite the hotel and we parked very easily in there. My wife and i stayed here this weekend so we could watch the fireworks, friendly staff nice clean rooms and the bed was so very comfortable we both had an amazing nights sleep, the breakfast was very nice and plenty of it, we will be doing this again next year so brainer.

My family and I visited this hotel on Saturday 26th for a function where we were privileged enough to watch the fireworks from our own private room and balcony. ||Firstly the location... the hotel is opposite a very accessible car park and so being a family of four it was really easy to get to the hotel from the car. Equally, it’s so close to the adventure playground and all the other arcades and amenities that you’re centrally placed to do almost everything Southend has to offer easily and without fuss.||The hotel itself was clean and spacious and the bar served a vast range of drinks. There’s a lot of seating too which was good, especially after all the walking and rides we went on, it was much needed.||We were lucky enough to have a room on the 1st floor where we were brought food (chilli, curry, jacket potatoes, pizza and breads). The food was lovely, the crockery was clean and made for a really nice dinner.||Then we witnessed the fireworks display. Which, considering was free, was amazing. My children loved it. We were all on the balcony overlooking the Adventure Island and the display. It was spacious, dry and gave us an amazing view of the display; our children loved it. ||Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the night and this hotel enabled us to do it. Our second year visiting for the fireworks and it was, once again, great. All the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming from reception, the bar staff and those at breakfast. We were in a function room with a balcony to see the fireworks which is a great way to view them, particularly as it was a rainy & chilly evening it sheltered us from the worst of the weather. Das Hotel liegt wunderschön am Pier von Southend. Vis a vis ist ein Einkaufszentrum, der Bahnhof ist in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut , es gab genug Auswahl und war auch sehr hübsch hergerichtet.Das Familienzimmer war recht groß, allerdings gibt es keinen Kasten, nur ein paar Ablagen, also liegt recht viel herum. This Hotel is ideal for shirt stays and generally met with all expectations. The Rooms and facilities were fine, in general standing with Hotels such as Premier Inn. Rooms however could do with a small wardrobe with closing doors rather then open racks/rails. Bathrooms a little cramped but were clean and served their purpose. The Restaurant was a bit too 70's in design and lacked any ambiance, but was clean . The mENU COULD HOWEVER BE A BIT MORE TRADITIONAL, TOO MUCH mIDDLE eASTERN, COME Turkish STYLE DISHES.||Breakfast was fine, but too spread out throughout the restaurant. One of the young Breakfast Waitresses should however be highly commended. Her name is Morgan. She could not have helped us any more than what she did, she went over and above her duties to assist my Wife and I, who both have walking disabilities and visual impairments. Morgan helped to carry all our Breakfast dishes, and drinks and even helped to prepare our dishes. She was so helpful and cheerful and should set a standard for the others.||This Hotel has been an icon in Southend for many many years, although has only recently undergone a complete modernisation and refurbishment, which has been a great success and very well enjoyed, though I still feel its exterior looks slightly shabby and could do with improving.
