We had a lovely time until we needed to spend a penny. The toilets were a disgrace. Considering its had a refurb there was two toilets together & out of order with no dividing wall. And the only toilet working was like a swimming pool ! So are we ladies suppose to hold hands while we pee together. Or go & use the gents !! Otherwise its a great place to spend out with yor family. There was 110 of us (30 children) and everyone had a brilliant time, everyone commented on how amazing the refurbishment was - I didn't recognise it. The newly refurbished Sports Centre at Queens Park hosts cricket in the summer and rugby in all other weathers! Hi all just wanted to say thank you for letting me use the rugby club facilities for my 50th birthday last Friday night I had a great time as did everyone who attended - what a great venue indeed! A lot of friends/family commented on the updated club and how lovely it is now. It was ideal because of the rugby connecction with Jasper and the rugby family too. Fantastic place to hold a party!!! The rugby club has been redecorated so it is a perfect venue, with a large area for dancing a separate room for food/children to play in and plenty of seating there really is no better place.
The staff were fantastic! The people behind the bar were quick and efficient and the drinks prices are fantastic and if you need any specific drinks they will try to accommodate as best as they can.
I highly recommend having a buffet - Sharon was amazing!! She is so helpful and attentive (and so was the lovely Scottish guy she works with). One warning - Sharon makes a huge buffet she really goes all out and I really don't now how she does it. She was more than willing to change things round for us which was great of her. I cannot recommend the rugby club enough!!!
