Phil and his team were professional and knowledgeable. Having called several days earlier to identify the problem, they returned, drained my pond, removed my fish and 4 frogs to a holding tank, located the leak and advised me of the reason for it, repaired it, refilled the pond and returned my fish and the frogs to it. After a leak in my pond seemed to start, I called Phil for help. Phil called to the house and explained all options available. After looking round the pond he spotted the leak was on the filter and not in the pond saving me thousands of pounds. I cant thank Phil enough for his time and the excellent advice he has given. Phil to the rescue !Phil did a fabulous job (5 star) on a previous flowing water trough which we love, at the time he told us that water features is specialist work. Later we had some further water spouts put in another trough by our very competent builder who was doing the landscaping and walls around the trough, these spouts never really worked - poor variable steam and kept blocking. We called Phil in and he sorted them out. They now have a great even stream and don't block up. We had to agree when he reminded us that he had said it was specialist work and wish we had asked him to do this part of the job from the beginning ! More...

Phil & his team recently refurbished our pond. We had asked local gardeners to give us a quote for the work but due to the complexity it required a specialist firm like PLG Aquatics. I've used PLG Aquatics twice now; late 2018 to replace my ancient pond liner with fibreglass and recently to change my external dry pump system to an underwater one and reconfigure the filter plumbing. We're currently in the process of buying a house that has a substantial mill pond. As we've never owned a pond before we asked our building surveyors if they could take a look at this for us, but they confirmed they could not look at this as part of a building survey. We searched for a local pond company to see if they could help and found PLG. They were really helpful and actually went out the same day we enquired, providing really helpful feedback and setting our minds at rest. I was recommended by a friend to contact PLG Aquatics re my neglected, overgrown and leaking wildlife pond and "stream". Phil provided a very speedy quotation and assurances that it could all be brought back as new.His two lads arrived promptly on the due date, stripped out unwanted plants (a lot!), removed all the stone (a lot!), relined the stream and pond, replaced all the stone, pump and pipework, and the following day left everything in working order.There was no damage to surrounding areas, all rubbish was removed and the finished appearance exceeded all my expectations.I have no hesitation in recommending PLG Aquatics to anyone - a first-class company to deal with. Phil 'the fish' and his team have been maintaining my pond for a number of years with a high quality service. I decided to upgrade to a larger pond with a waterfall and easier maintenance.
