We had 2 meals over this past weekend and both really good, excellent service, food and exceptional value. We were staying close by and on viewing other nearby pubs were put off by their bad reviews, so having eaten at the Oak on Friday returned on Sunday, couldn't fault .

Visited as a large prebooked party for dinner on a Friday night. Some people arrived late, but the staff were happy to wait until everyone arrived. Once we shown to our tables, the starters came out. Huge portion sizes! Mains weren't small either.The waiter and barmaid were really friendly and helpful. The manager was fairly stressed and a little rude, but didn't ruin our night. Been here twice now and both times have been extremely enjoyable. Staff are very courteous and the food is very tasty and prepared very quickly. We eat out a lot in and around Norwich and this is one of the best places to eat that we have experienced. Highly recommended! Oh and the prices are exceptionally good! More...
