Northlight Architecture is an architectural consultancy based in the Yorkshire town of Huddersfield. Our success is founded on the close relationships we build with our clients, many of whom return to us with further commissions.

We explore all requirements and aspirations for a project in great detail to develop a solution that completely satisfies immediate and future expectations. We work with clients initially to develop the brief and determine how we can tailor our services to suit specific requirements, whether it is for a feasibility study, to prepare detailed solutions for statutory approvals, or through to constructional completion of the project.

The Practice was established in 2005 by directors Richard Hook and Chris Gentle. Together they have over 40 years architectural experience, working in various commercial practices in the north of England, providing design and technical services for numerous building projects. This experience has led to a comprehensive understanding of the architectural process as well as the importance of attention to design and detail throughout the project regardless of scale.
