Nicola did my hair and makeup for my wedding a few weeks ago, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. We had a trial a few months before the wedding, which was really helpful. I was delighted that Nicola perfectly recreated what I wanted for both my hair and makeup. It was also really lovely to meet her before the day, as when the wedding came around it was so lovely having a friendly face in the room. Nicola was so delightful to have there, even though she had had a tricky journey down to the venue, you would never have known as she was so calm, upbeat and professional! She also helped keep me calm when my nerves kicked in! My hair and makeup was PERFECT. I felt the most beautiful I’ve ever felt - exactly like me, but just glowing. I couldn’t stop looking at myself in the mirror! My hair stayed and makeup stayed put all day long - amazing! Nicola also did my Mums makeup, and she looked incredible! I could tell she felt really confident too, which was lovely, so thank you. An assistant to Nicola did the makeup for my 3 bridesmaids and they were also so beautiful and glowing. I had a makeup class with Nicola to learn my wedding makeup. I was so happy with the makeup she showed me based on a reference photo I had found, it was perfect and looked even better than I could have hoped. She was a great teacher, really patient with me even though I’m a complete novice and I feel confident I will now be able to recreate the look on my wedding day. Nicola did my make up for my wedding and it was absolutely incredible. It was near perfect at the trial and then with a few tweaks on the day it was exactly how I wanted. I felt amazing and so many people commented on how good the make up was. It was a perfect balance between being made up but still natural at the same time. I chose Nicola to do the hair and makeup for my wedding and she was amazing: talented, organised and professional. She created a really clear schedule to cover myself, five bridesmaids and my mother and recruited two brilliant assistants Martina and Margherita to fit everyone in. We ended up adapting the look we had settled on during my trial, and Nicola was great at helping me feel out what I was looking for, even giving me a call a few days before to chat everything through. Now I've got some previews back from the photographer and I'm so thrilled with how my hair and makeup turned out – I look exactly how I wanted to, an elevated version of myself. I could not have been happier with my bridal hair and make-up - it was so natural and glowing and I really felt like the best version of myself. Nicola was such a pleasure to work with. Since I live abroad and was unable to do the trial until 3 weeks before our UK wedding, Nicola agreed to meet via Zoom before booking. She was very communicative and open during the trial, taking care to understand my personal style and working together to finalize the bridal look.
