I'm an experienced personal trainer and fitness instructor, and specialise in helping clients reach their fitness and well-being goals. I'll design a bespoke training programme for you, tailored to your specific needs and designed to help you reach your targets as quickly as possible (and maintain them). I also provide nutritional advice and guidance.
Research shows that having the right mental approach is vital to maintaining a fitness programme and making long-term progress. My unique approach to personal training means that as well as developing a tailored training programme for you, I'll work with you to make sure you have the right mindset to achieve sustainable, long-term fitness and well-being. I aim to help my personal training clients make progress as quickly as possible, and to give them the physical and mental tools to transform their lifestyle. I help them to achieve lasting change.
I'm a qualified and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist. I understand that deciding to seek help can be a big step, so I offer a very caring and supportive service. My aim is to help you make progress from the very first session.
I'll provide you with tailored, one-to-one support throughout our time working together, and ensure that you have practical, effective strategies for moving forward. I use an evidence-based approach, selecting tools and methods based on the best evidence available about what works in bringing about long-lasting change.
I offer hypnosis for a range of issues, including: worry, stress and general anxiety; confidence-building; shyness and social anxiety; low self-esteem; chronic pain relief; and phobias. I specialise in hypnosis for relaxation and stress reduction, and providing people with the tools to deal with social anxiety, general anxiety, and stress. From session one, you’ll begin to learn methods and strategies that can help with your specific issue.

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
I work very closely with all of my clients and provide them with a bespoke, one-to-one service. All of the programmes and treatment plans I design and tailored to their specific needs - I never use 'off-the-peg' programmes for my clients.
My unique approach to personal training means that I focus on 'mindset' as well as on the physical aspects of training. I'm a Black Belt martial artist, so I know the difference that this can make to success in achieving training goal. My focus is on making fitness, health and lifestyle changes that really last, rather than the 'boom and bust' approach that is so common.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Hard work, consistency, and being flexible in your training programme. Also, 'being kind to yourself' - taking a medium or long-term approach, with realistic goals, and not beating yourself up if you have a glass or wine or a chocolate bar (just getting up and continuing with your programme the next day). My approach is about a sustainable approach to fitness and well-being - something that you can follow and that can become part of your lifestyle.
What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people achieve their goals, and introducing them to a different way of training that gets lasting results, and that is really fun and enjoyable. I don't believe that hard work needs to be a chore!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have worked for my self for more than 10 years - I love the flexibility that it offers.
