Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
Being an accountant means that your a key adviser and an extension to a business. You can offer much more than just pure accounting or taxation advice, sometimes it's being the listener, a person to give you assurance, and confidence and to take the stress away. We just really enjoy helping people.
What do you love most about your job?
Helping and meeting people and taking the strain and stress away and explaining things in plain English.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to work flexibly and to start a family business. Also be more in control of our own destiny.
Why should our clients choose you?
We offer a down to earth approach and speak to clients in a language that they will understand. I have empathy with clients as I've worked in industry and have started and run my own business for nearly 10 years through one of the longest and toughest recessions.
There are four of us in the business and one of core strengths is our ethos. It's family run and our clients are people first and not just numbers or references.
