John Winter and his team are so helpful and understanding. I've had issues with people dropping out of the group that we were going to get a house with and John couldn't have dealt with it better; offering us advice and helping to house us for third year in a smaller group than originally planned. The maintenance team usually come over as soon as they are contacted or not long after, and the houses are all lovely. I would always recommend John Winter for anyone looking for an easy and stress free student housing experience. More...

This has been my first year living as a John Winter tenant, and I regret not choosing to go with them before my final year of uni.
I cannot fault them as landlords, any maintenance issues are addressed almost immediately and all members of staff are approachable and willing to help.
Nothing is kept a secret, no sudden bills or fees are thrown upon you. John regularly keeps in contact with all of his tenants to inform them of anything happening we need to know about - so there are no surprises.
The houses themselves are modern, clean and worth their value for money. We always get complimented on how nice our house is 'for a student house'.
Overall, I highly recommend John Winter if you want a landlord with no surprises, no agency fee or bonds, and hassle free living, which as a student is near impossible to find!

Have lived in a John winter house for a year now and have loved every minute. The property is well maintained, have not experienced any of the horror stories that some of my course mates who are not with John Winter have experienced.
Staff were very patient when signing the house as we were unsure as to which location would be best.
Garden is maintained by John Winter and not by us (unlike other companies) meaning we have a lovely garden which we don't have to worry about maintaining.
Access to the property over the summer is a real bonus if you want to pop up to Cardiff for a weekend away.
Rooms are spacious and well lit.
In the rare occasion we do have any problems with the house, it is usually sorted within 3 days.

I moved into a John Winter house for my second year of university. I do not have any brothers or sisters so the process was one that neither my parents or I were familiar with. The house viewing process was smooth, me and my housemates found a home that suited us just fine and met all of our pre-established requests. We had a couple of minor teething issues at the start of term but they were dealt with quickly and easily. Other than that we have absolutely no complaints. The houses are marginally more expensive than others around but the quality of the service has justified this small extra cost. More...

Brilliant service from John and his team. This is my first letting experience and I walked in to the office not having a clue about what to do about anything, but John and the team made the whole process seamless. Utility accounts were set up for us prior to our tenancy starting, the house gets a full professional clean and maintenance work/upgrades are done over the summer or arranged around your schedules. Overall fantastic experience and it made the move to Cardiff infinitely less stressful. Would definitely recommend! More...
