I had a water leak in the loft and, despite having a busy day, he offered to come out that evening (a Saturday) however, as I was able to shut off the feed and drain the system myself, I moved the the appointment to the following day (a Sunday, for which there was no additional charge), he arrived at the very minute we had agreed to. He was very friendly and professional and I was impressed with his knowledge of plumbing, both in terms of resolving the leak efficiently and the theory behind the methodology in which houses are plumbed.We then discussed moving over to a combination boiler (I raised the topic knowing that this was something he carried out) and I was pleased that he didn't jump at the chance for additional work but recommended that I wait until the current system begins to fail.All this, combined with very reasonable prices, means that I will use Mr Fix it Gas for any work going forward; the character limit alone prevents me from saying more positive things. Having spent so long saving every penny for this job I worried so much about finding a good, trustworthy person for the job. Luigi's competitive quote was detailed and easy to follow, instilling confidence in me...and it was not misplaced!Top Communication, reliability, tidyness and friendlyness!Now my bathroom is small and does not have a straight or flat wall, the Builders and Plumbers of the past had left rather questionable work behind! My original gas boiler was condemned by British Gas (at a routine annual service). Their quote was nearly twice as much as Luigi's for a new combi boiler. I accepted his quote (which included a breakdown of the work to be completed and the materials required) and agreed an installation date. He arrived promptly with two young assistants and they all worked hard to remove two water tanks and the old boiler before fitting the new boiler. Luigi explained any issues or options available during the installation and the two assistants were very polite.I am very pleased with the work completed and the new combi boiler (which has a 7 year guarantee). They hoovered and cleaned up afterwards, removing all the rubbish (as agreed).I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Fix It Gas to others and will be calling him if I need any other work completing in the future. Brilliant ! We went through the dozens of plumbing quotes in our area for fitting power shower and received rediculious quotes between £120 and £300 . But Mr Fix it from Chatteris offed us a fixed price of £85.It was very polite, friendly, quick with no fuss service. Plumber was a super cute and adorable but clearly very talented young boy who fitted a complicated shower unit in 15 min. We are very happy with their work and will be using their service in future. Luigi was personally recommended to me. He turned up when he said he would, and did what he promised. He treated the job as if he was doing it for himself, no corners were cut and there was no bodging. I was under no illusion, having your (only) bathroom ripped out and re-done from scratch is quite stressful, but Luigi did all he could to get the job done quickly but more importantly PROPERLY. Luigi came round at very short notice (on a Saturday) to disconnect our old oven and connect our new oven. Luigi was extremely helpful, thorough and highly professional in carrying out all the work. Luigi helped us with many many different types of work around the house (leaky taps, broken/wind blown side gate, "leaky" door, under the stairs storage, removal of the tree, cutting bushes and making a patio type very neat space in the front etc) and everything he did was just brilliant!
